Custom A10VSO Piston Pump for Skid Steer Loaders

Customer Requirement

A client required a customized A10VSO Series Axial Piston Pump with a displacement of 85 cm³/rev for use in a skid steer loader. Since this displacement was non-standard and needed to match the installation dimensions of an A10VSO71 pump, a tailored solution was necessary.

After in-depth discussions with the client and a comprehensive project evaluation, our engineering team developed a fully customized solution. We made precise modifications to the key components of the piston pump to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

• Cylinder Block Adjustments Using advanced 3D modeling technology, we redesigned the internal structure and outer contour of the cylinder block. By fine-tuning the bore diameter and cylinder length, we ensured stable pressure capacity and smooth hydraulic oil flow under the new operating conditions.
• Optimized Oil Distribution Plate We analyzed the distribution of oil grooves, aperture size, and fit with the cylinder block and piston. By optimizing its dimensions, we enhanced the coordination between components, effectively reducing hydraulic oil leakage and pressure loss while improving overall system efficiency.
• Piston & Shoe Modifications We adjusted the diameter, length, contact surface, and thickness of the pistons and slippers. These modifications resulted in smoother reciprocating motion, reduced wear, and improved adaptability under high-pressure loads.
• Comprehensive Enhancements Additional component refinements were implemented to fully align with the client’s requirements, ensuring the stability and reliability of the entire hydraulic system.
