A4VSO125 Axial Piston Pump for Steel Mill Hydraulic Station

Customer Requirement

A major steel mill required an A4VSO125 Axial Piston Pump for a hydraulic station supporting a smelting furnace. However, during the production process, the pumps frequently failed, despite trying multiple brands. Although the client was not using our product, we upheld our customer-first principle and sent a professional team to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Upon arriving at the site, our technical team conducted a thorough observation and analysis. We concluded that the frequent pump failures were not due to the pump's quality but rather an insufficient oil supply. To address this, we recommended increasing the diameter of the intake pipe to enhance oil flow and prevent cavitation.

The client implemented our suggested modifications by enlarging the intake pipe diameter. As a result, the hydraulic station began operating smoothly, and the pumps no longer experienced failures.
